Data collector collects data from data providers in order to support the subsequent data mining operations. The original data collected from data providers usually contain sensitive information about individuals. The datacollector should take suf fcient precautions before releasing .
In case datacollector we data anonymization process .We uses the arx anonymization tool in this role.
The process is explained in deatailed using images
1:Click on arx tool then a window will open as below and go to file to choose new project
2:Give the name of the project
3:Now go to file menu and select import dataset
4:Now choose which type of file you want
5:Then choose path of dataset
6:Now Click on ok then select the which you want to import and click ok and click next and finish
7:After importing data set in to arx it will show as below
8:Now go to attribute method and select the option based on your choice
9:Now go to edit and select create hierarchy
10:Then create hierarchy based on your requirement and an example is shown below
10:Now select the anonymization method which you want
12:now configure it
13:Now adjust the suppression limit as your requirment
14:Then finally Click on Anonymize
15:Finally Save the anonamized dataset
Then datacollector have to verify the resulted dataset and send it for dataminier
